Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Elaine F. Kung
Dr. Elaine F. Kung was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to New York City when she was 6. She enrolled at Stuyvesant High School, graduating at the top of her class. Afterward, she majored in biology and graduated magna cum laude from Yale College. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Yale School of Medicine, where she discovered her interests in dermatology.
During her dermatology residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center, she won awards for her tissue engineering research from the Society of Investigative Dermatology (SID), the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), and the World Congress of Dermatology.
In 2010, she founded Future Bright Dermatology in Lower Manhattan, serving a socioeconomically and ethnically diverse population.
Besides treating dermatologic conditions, she has developed a particular interest in aesthetic procedures involving neurotoxins, dermal fillers, lasers, energy-based devices, hair restoration with the Alma TED device, and thread lifts. She has been an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at NYP-Weill Cornell Medical Center for over 10 years.
Dr. Kung is a lifelong learner and completed a Master’s in Management from Harvard University during the pandemic. She is now studying cosmetic science in her spare time.
